Felicia Olmos takes control of ball against North Sanpete earlier this year.

Badly beat up in a 12-0 loss to region powerhouse Juan Diego on Wednesday, the Dinos bounced back in a come from behind win over North Sanpete on Friday night. The team scored three goals to outlast the Hawks 3-2 to tie with them for the final play-off berth.
The game at North Sanpete started out with the Dinos fighting the wind and cold.
The Hawks put in both their goals with the wind to their backs. Coach Henrie knew that if the team could just keep the score close, they could use the wind to their advantage in the second half.
Hanna Downard sent in a corner kick to score for the Dinos after the break. Sophomore Felicia Olmos racked up two more goals to secure the win. Both of her goals came on corner kicks as well.
Carbon will play Hurricane at Hurricane in the first round. Hurricane has a 2-1-1 record in region nine. Henrie knows that this will be a tough game for her girls.
The Hurricane team is tall and big and will give the Dinos a run for their money. Carbon lost to them in an earlier pre-season game.
They play on Wednesday Oct. 10 at 4 p.m.. If they win they would go to Bear River or Park City to play on Oct. 13.
