I would like to say what a great job the good people at Active Re-Entry located in Price do.
My father, a Duchesne County resident, was able to take advantage of their PERKIE Travels service, where they provide daily transportation to Provo for cancer patients receiving radiation treatments from the Utah Valley Medical Center. My dad stayed with me in Price for the duration of his treatments, and was able to ride in their vans and save his strength for other activities.
Prior to his knowledge about this service, he was driving himself daily from Roosevelt to Provo. I am grateful that Active Re-Entry is able to receive grant money to fund this special service.
It’s truly a special service that they provide to residents of our area.
