Letter to the Editor: Let them build the plants

By Sun Advocate

Editor:
The protests that appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune are wrong. Cars, trucks, and smoke from forest fires in California, Nevada and Utah cause much more pollution for people than the coal fired power plants.
The air quality divisions watch very closely to make sure that coal fired power plants heed their regulations.
Every time people use electricity, remember where it comes from. Almost everything you use is run by electricity.
Let them build the coal fired power plants in Utah and Nevada. Please do not destroy the economy and lives of the coal mine industry and the electric companies.
