The 13-year-old Carbon Babe Ruth All-Star team took first place in the district tournament conducted in Roosevelt on July 5-7. They then went on to take third in the state tournament going 3-2.
The 14-year-old All-Stars took second in district play also in Roosevelt, they then advanced to the state finals in Taylorsville.
