Sarah Barnett and Kit Barker have chosen to be married July 14 at an evening ceremony on Coal Creek Mountain with family and friends.
Sarah graduated from Carbon High and attends College of Eastern Utah, earning a cosmetology license. She is the daughter of Lynda and Roy Barnett of Price. She is the granddaughter of Jewell and Gerald Barkley and the late John and Nell Barnett. Kit graduated from Carbon High and is employed at Nielson Construction. He is the son of Darla and Rodney Lee of Helper and Dorrell and Michele Barker of Price. He is the grandson of Clara Dunn, the late Ferral Dunn and Verdis and Pauline Barker.
Together, they will make their home in Price.

LaNora Johnson of Ferron announces the marriage of her daughter, Brandy Lyn Anderson, to Briton Powell, the son of Gary and Joan Powell of Wellington. Brandy is also the daughter of the late Cody Anderson.
The couple will exchange wedding vows July 14 at the Twin Peaks Pavilion at Fish Lake.
Briton is employed at Nielson Construction. Brandy is employed at Castleview Hospital.
The couple will reside in Helper.

Brandy is the daughter of Eddie and Bridgett Justesen. Michael is the son of Dayne Howell and Rick and Laura Edginton.

James and Cristy Kulow of Price announce the marriage of their daughter, Megan Kaye Kulow, to Casey Spillman, the son of Michael and Kathy Spillman of Blanding.
Megan and Casey were married June 30 at Carbon Country Club. The newlyweds were honored at a dinner reception that evening.
Megan is a 2003 graduate of Carbon High School and a 2007 College of Eastern Utah San Juan graduate with a registered nurse degree. She is employed at Four Corners Regional Center as a nurse in Blanding. Casey is a 2000 San Juan High School graduate. He is employed at Aces and 8’s Construction. He is also employed as a Blanding fireman. Grandparents of the bride are Gary and Dorothy Johnson, Kay Copfer and James Kulow Sr. Grandparents of the groom are Charlotte Spillman, the late George Spillman, Leona Scarbrough and the late Tom Scarbrough.
The couple will reside in Blanding.

The wedding will be at Talon’s Cove Golf Course in Saratoga Springs. Friends and family will honor the newlyweds at a reception that evening starting at 6 p.m.
Becci is the daughter of Max and Chris Johnson and Cordell and Julie Bott of Provo. Danny is the son of the late George Stucki and Christine and John Watkins of Price.
Becci and Danny will live in Pleasant Grove, where they are employed.

The newlyweds will be honored at an open house July 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hinkins residence, 160 W. Center, Orangeville. Dancing will follow from 7:30 to 8 p.m. A reception will be presented July 14 in Highland. Jed is a 2002 Emery High graduate and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sendai, Japan. He received an associate’s degree from Southern Utah University. Sarin is a 2005 West Jordan graduate and received an associate’s of applied science degree and cosmetology license from College of Eastern Utah. Jed is the son of Todd and Nadene Hinkins of Orangeville. His grandparents are Jethro Majors, LaRae Majors and Delile and Elda Hinkins. Sarin is the daughter of Mark and Monica Marsing and Curtis and Mayla Slack. The couple will reside in Cedar City and continue their educations at SUU.

A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 7 to 11 p.m.
Kalib received a Utah journeyman electrician license. He is employed at Devoge Electric. Lacey is a 2005 College of Eastern Utah graduate with an associate’s of business degree. She is employed at Four Corners Community Behavioral Health.
Parents of the groom are Mitch and Debbie Curtis. His grandparents are Margorie Curtis, the late George Curtis, Maxine and James Rhinehart and the late Eben Powell. Parents of the bride are Jim and Lorain Stevenson. Her grandparents are the late Mary and Harold Stevenson and Jim and Arline Anderson.
The couple will make their home in Price.
