J. Blaine Tuttle
ORANGEVILLE – J. Blaine Tuttle, 83, passed away April 21, 2007 in Orangeville.
He was born Nov. 27, 1923 in Kenilworth to Milton Melrose and Essie Mable Guymon Tuttle. He married Geneva Snow in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Nov. 26, 1943.
Blaine loved the small town atmosphere and was proud of the fact that he spent his entire life in Orangeville.
He was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many callings. His most cherished calling was serving the people he loved as bishop for 13 years.
He worked as a professional truck driver for 30 plus years for Deseret Transportation. During this time, he received an award for driving 2.5 million miles accident free.
He also enjoyed working hand in hand with his twin brother, Bland, on their farm. He was proud of his gardening skills.
He enjoyed time spent on the back hoe and his association with Cottonwood Creek Irrigation Company.
He is survived by his wife; children, Richard (Joyce) Tuttle, Medford, Ore.; Janet (Kelly) Jones, Longmont, Colo.; Cathy (Kirk) Olsen, Sandy; Roger Tuttle, Orangeville; Cathy Tuttle Hardee (Brent), Castle Dale; Alan (Danielle) Tuttle, St. Louis, Mo.; Jennifer Tuttle, Price; 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy Dean and Edwin; sons, Lowell and Jeffrey; grandchildren, Tracey Lyn and Katrina.
Funeral services were Friday, April 27, at the Orangeville LDS Chapel. A viewing was Thursday, April 26, at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial took place at the Orangeville City Cemetery.
Owen Davis
WELLINGTON – Owen Davis, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully April 30, 2007 in the comfort of his home with his wife of 70 years by his side.
He was born July 5, 1916 in Springville to David O. Davis and Ethel Hatfield Davis.
He married his sweetheart, Mable Gerber, on July 16, 1936 in Price. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
He lived a short time in Thistle and Farnum before moving to Wellington, where he resided for 86 years.
He loved all sports. He helped organize the Little League baseball program in Wellington.
He was a crossword puzzle enthusiast. He was a talented barber of 60 years.
He was a kind, honest and generous man, always helping others in need.
He spent many hours roaming the hills for arrowheads.
He is survived by wife, Mable Davis; brother, Ray Davis; children, Gayle Wallace, Robert (Grace) Davis, Keith (Erma) Davis, Douglas (Carol) Davis, Cherilyn (Dan) Piper, Valynne (Jeff) Spencer; 22 loving grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Viewing will be Friday, May 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary, 680 E. 100 South, Price. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 5, at 1 p.m. at the Wellington LDS Stake Center. A viewing will be one hour prior to services at the stake center. Internment Wellington City Cemetery.
