Joanne Forrester
SALT LAKE CITY – Joanne R. Forrester passed away April 21, 2007 in Salt Lake City.
She was born June 6, 1931 in Pocatello, Idaho, to William Frank Riddell and Ellen Pearl Olsen. She married Ray Forrester, later divorced.
Joanne was a hard worker. She enjoyed interior design and owned the Red Ox restaurant in Bountiful. She also loved to entertain her friends, especially at her annual lamb barbeque in Scofield.
Survived by children, Brent (Bonnie) Forrester, Debbie Stone, Tammy Vigor and Denette Young; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Marlene Jacobsen, Donna Jorn and Bill Riddell.
Memorial services will be Saturday, April 28, 11 a.m., at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City.
Susan Acerson
PRICE/SALT LAKE CITY – Surrounded by family, Susan (Susie) Marie Acerson passed without pain to a spiritual existence on April 20, 2007 to play with her favorite lab, Chaco.
She was born in Salt Lake City to Lenice L. Nielsen and Mary (Allred) Wyatt. Susan was the third of four children, Carol Coles (Arne), Edward Nielsen (deceased) and Bill Nielsen (Donna). She married Steven Donald Acerson, the love of her life on Feb. 2, 1985 at the beautiful outdoor setting of Fisher Towers next to the Colorado River. They had met on a whitewater-rafting trip with her daughter Shannon Marie Smith (Shadow). They were later solemnized after a scary drive through a snowstorm in the Manti LDS Temple, March 3, 1989. She followed her heart to Green River and became a loving and caring mother to Teresa N., Brian S., and Summer Anne Acerson.
Her love for serving and caring for others found her working at various positions: emergency medical technician, senior citizens and home health. Then with continued education she received her registered nurse degree from College of Eastern Utah in Price.
As an active member of the LDS church, she served in many callings. She enjoyed her opportunities to share her life experiences to guide and direct the youth.
Her life was filled with outdoor activities, which included whitewater rafting (guide), horseback riding through the mountains, chasing her dogs and husband across sage and sandstone. She became a full time member of the tadpole clan. Gardening and flowers were her passion and relief time.
Her little miracle in life arrived 20 years after her first child, at the age of 43. Alexis Brehan joined our family, with beautiful eyes, smile and an amazing voice. Two months prior she was blessed with a beautiful granddaughter, Kylie Marie (Pookie) Smith.
Proceeded in death by first husband, David Willard Smith.
Viewing at Broomhead Funeral Home, 12590 S. 2200 West, Riverton, on Thursday April 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral at Elk Ridge at the 5th LDS Ward Chapel, 450 E. Park Drive, on Friday, April 27 at 11 a.m, with viewing one hour prior to services.
Lois G. Jensen
HUNTINGTON-Lois G. Oviatt Jensen, age 83, passed away April 25, 2007, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 5, 1924 in Storrs to Dee and Lillian Irene Erickson Oviatt. Married William J. Jensen April 6, 1942 in Cleveland. He died on October 5, 1996.
Member of the LDS Church. Lois was a lifelong resident of Emery County.
Survived by children, Billie Jean (Sonny) McCray, Boise Idaho; Ileen Loe, St. George; Irene (Lee) Fillmore, Huntington; Joe W. (JoAnn) Jensen, Price; Jim C. (Terry) Jensen, Spanish Fork; Lois K. (Kenny) Chan, Salt Lake City; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; a brother; and five sisters.
She was preceded in death by husband, Bill; parents; two brothers; one sister; and a great grandson.
The family extends a special thanks to Castle Country Care Center and the very special staff who loved and took care of her in her final years.
Funeral service Saturday, April 28, 11 a.m., Huntington LDS Stake Center. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home Friday evening 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church Saturday one hour prior to service. Interment, Cleveland City Cemetery.
Weston W. Wyatt
PRICE – Sweet dreams our Wessy Angel, Weston William Wyatt passed away April 20, 2007 with his loving guardian “Baby” the blue heeler by his side.
Our little monkey climbed into our hearts on April 29, 2005 in Price to proud parents Brian Corbin Wyatt and April Leann Jones and siblings Austin and Savanah.
Wessy loved dressing up in his red fireman suite and crawling up in his daddy’s arms to watch Curious George before bed.
He was a true “cuddle bug” being rocked and held was his favorite past time and he would often say, “Grandma La La,” as she rubbed his back and sang him to sleep.
We will miss his heart warming smiles and bare feet. Sweet dreams Wessy Angel, we love you.

Funeral services for Weston will be on his birthday, Sunday, April 29, 2 p.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price. The family will gather at Mitchell’s Sunday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Cliffview Cemetery immediately following the services.
In remembrance of Weston, the family has asked that everyone attending the services please be dressed in his favorite colors, red or blue. Please don’t allow the little ones to wear black.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to memorial funds established for the Wyatt family at Zions Bank and Eastern Utah Community Credit Union.
Clelia Ariotti Nelson
HELPER – Clelia Ariotti Nelson, age 92, died April 24, 2007 in Fremont, Calif., of natural causes.
She was born Dec. 24, 1914 in Castle Gate to Rocco and Albina Giacoma-Rosa Ariotti. Married Gale E. Nelson, July 3, 1938 in Price; he passed away on Dec. 24, 1960.
Clelia lived in Bingham Canyon from 1946 to 1952 and Fremont, Calif., from 2002 to 2007, but she was a resident of Carbon County for most of her life. Clelia was the last surviving charter member of Sorella Stella D’America Lodge 31 of the Columbian Federation of the Italian-American Society. She is presently a member of the Stella D’America Helper Lodge 77.
She is survived by son, Gale R. Nelson, Fremont, Calif.; daughters, Sandra (Roger) Kohlman, Pocatello, Idaho; Linda Nelson, Price; brother, Richard (Kydo) Ariotti, Helper. Preceded in death by husband; sisters, Katie Etzel, Jennie Borla; brothers, Remo and Keno Ariotti; and a granddaughter, Holly Anne Fickel.
Funeral service, Monday, April 30, 1 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to service. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.
