I wish to compliment our county commissioners for their recent unanimous concurrence to assign the new County Engineer Curtis Paige to evaluate all engineering related issues affecting Carbon County.
It will most certainly secure a more comprehensive view of our county needs as Mr. Paige brings with him a strong background in infrastructure planning and recognizing fatal flaws of accelerated design and development. This move provides the ability to act prior to implementation rather than reacting to the aftermath later.
I feel certain the whole of Carbon County will benefit from your decision made in the April 18, 2007 commission meeting.
