Bill Diamanti
HELPER – William Chris Diamanti, age 55, passed away unexpectedly April 17, 2007 while at work.
He was born April 14, 1952 in Price to Chris and Phyllis Park Diamanti. In 1984 he was joined together with Rita Mary Sinner in holy matrimony and the two became one.
Bill was a graduate of the College of Eastern Utah and of Humboldt State University in California with a degree in biology.
As a young man he proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1978 to ’79.
Bill was a beautiful soul mate who will be deeply missed. Those of us who were fortunate enough to touch souls with Bill were among the fortunate of the earth. He swelled with pride for his children, his most prized treasures of all. As a lover of creation, of knowledge and of history, Bill brought meaning to life wherever he went.
Although we are deeply saddened by Bill’s going home too soon, we hold fast to the Word of God which says, “Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much fruit.” With Bill’s passing he leaves behind for his family, his church, and all who knew him, the legacy of a life lived out of deep devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Among those who will miss him are wife, Rita; two sons, Phillip (Kristie) and Gregory; daughter, Diana (Blerim) Hebibi; Lirim Hebibi, who was more like a son than a grandson; three other grandsons; mother, Phyllis; and sister, Sue Huff. Bill leaves behind a large extended family and a church family he held dear.
Memorial service will be held at New Life Ministries, 1950 W 4100 North in Spring Glen, Saturday, April 21, 11 a.m. Family will be at New Life Ministries one half hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home.
