I am writing in reference to the article “Prescription drug problems plague county” written by Charles McManus on March 20.
He states that the Drug Task Force officer Robb Radley says “A lot of what is seen locally stems from grandma and grandpa leaving pain killers where the children or grandchildren can find them and then take the drugs to the junior and senior high schools.”
I feel this statement is blatantly disrespectful and uncalled for. I feel an apology is due to grandparents and senior citizens of this community. Our senior citizens (grandma and grandpa) have enough problems just growing older without being accused of contributing to the growing drug problems in the community,
