The road project in Helper’s north intersection was a terrible choice of the UDOT engineers to approve.
I, as well as many others, wrote many times about putting a stop and go traffic light at this intersection. Instead, UDOT has decided to spend a fortune of money for an overpass project which has devastated Helper City.
This project has almost destroyed Helper from the north entrance to the south outlet as well as east and west. Water lines, sewer lines, the Helper River Walk, historical areas and many businesses have been badly affected by this project. Some homes have also been damaged.
What a waste of money.
