Gordon Magann

HELPER – Laurence Gordon Magann, our loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and Teaser-Man, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2007.
He was born Feb. 6, 1946 in Price to Jane Irene Olsen and Earl Magann and lived every one of his 61 years full of passion, love and service.
His greatest joy was his family and he loved to be wherever we were: fishing, hunting, camping, golfing, that weekly poker game, bowling, helping with cement work, five-minute plumbing jobs, pergola building, making his famous spaghetti, watching a certain rock band play and attending any school or sporting event that his grandchildren and many nieces and nephews were participating in.
He loved holidays because we were all together and was always the instigator of egg hunts and perfect Christmas tree searches, turkey bowling and family reunions. He was the family’s official watcher of NORAD and loved to call and give reports on Santa’s progress.
He was a father not only to his children, Richy (Jennifer), Chantyll (Michael), Michelle and Chris (Michelle “Red”), his eight loving grandchildren, but also to his sisters, Chantay (Marc) and Sandy (Tracy). He was the best friend of his little sis Charmaine and loved schooling his younger brother Willy (Jan) in all matters in life whether Willy asked or not.
He was a tenderhearted man who was quick to tears and quicker to laugh and gave the shirt off of his back more times that we could count. He loved his country and proudly served as a Marine. His grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, uncle Narni and cousins Bimbo and Chuck, had all gone ahead and were there to greet him. Dad, we will all try to love each other as much as you did until we can follow you home.
