Off the Bench: Carbon High LadyDinos basketball

Samantha Smith

Samantha Smith is a guard for Carbon this year. As a sophomore she is getting a chance for some minutes on the court. She also runs track and plays on the volleyball team. When not participating in sports she enjoys baking and running. She enjoys biology class. She plans to attend college after graduation, but is still looking at her options. Her role models include her mom and dad as well as Coach Stew Foster.

Patricia Smith

Patricia Smith is a sophomore this year. She plays guard on the team. She is on the track, cross country team and plays volleyball for Carbon. She likes her math class best. In addition to sports she enjoys laughing with her friends. While she plans to attend college after graduation, she has no clue where she wants to go. She looks up to Coach Stew Foster as a role model.

Sophomore Karlee Martino

Sophomore Karlee Martino is a multi sport athlete for Carbon. In addition to playing post for the basketball team, she plays volleyball, softball and runs track. She looks forward to the day she might attend the University of Utah. English is her favorite class. One of her role models is teammate Kayla Namanny.

Julia Potts

Julia Potts is a sophomore on the Carbon High squad. She is a guard and point guard for the young Dino squad. Volleyball is her other sport. Her favorite classes are history and biology. Potts enjoys hanging out with friends and water sports as a way to unwind. She would like to attend either BYU or Utah after graduating. She looks up to her parents and coaches as role models.

Britini Greenwood

Sophomore Britini Greenwood plays guard and post on this year’s squad. She also played on this year’s volleyball squad. Her favorite activity is just to hang with friends and play tennis. She wants to play basketball at the college level and has her sights set on either BYU or Utah as the college of her choice. Her parents and coaches are her biggest role models.
