Elisabeth Smith goes for the kick during a recent soccer match.

Traveling to Moab on Sept. 2, the Carbon Soccer team was shutout 4-0.
The girls could not get the ball across the goal line even though they had beaten Grand earlier in the year.
The team moved on to play Juan Diego. Juan Diego is a powerful team and it showed in the final score. Losing again to a shutout, this time the Dinos went down to defeat 10-0.
Juan Diego scored five goals each half to easily send the Dinos home with another loss.
Playing yet another road game, Carbon was able to avoid another shutout, but the loss was still hard to take at 4-1, losing to the Lady Hawks of North Sanpete.
Kayla Namanny was able to get the ball into the goal for the lone Carbon score.
The team stays on the road for one more region game at Delta this afternoon (Thursday).
Next week they will be on their home field for two straight as Juan Diego and then North Sanpete travel to Price to meet up with the Lady Dinos.
