An article on June 8 in the Sun Advocate regarding the coal mining surge was great.
The county can handle any population growth and new miners in the county.
In the 1940’s through 1960’s there were 7,000 coal miners here. There was also a total population of 29,500 citizens.
So let’s have the coal mines reopen and also keep the gas industry going as well.
The county will be able to handle it fine.
