Emergency personnel rush a female truck driver to an ambulance at the scene of a semi-tractor trailer rollover at Sunnyside Junction last Thursday. At approximately 5 p.m. on Aug. 31, a Savage coal truck rolled when the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle while attempting to turn right from Utah Highway 23 onto U.S. Highway 6, indicated officials. The accident delayed motorists for more than an hour in both directions of travel. Traffic remained slow until crews could unload the coal from the trailer, clear the debris from the roadway and remove the vehicle from the scene. HAZMAT crews were called in to clean up diesel fuel that leaked from the truck following the accident. The unidentified driver reportedly sustained head injuries in the accident and was transported to Castleview Hospital for treatment.
