Mexico has a double standard when it comes to immigration.
Mexico pressures the U.S. to grant citizenship to millions of undocumented Mexican migrants, and demands humane treatment for its citizens who migrate legally or illegally, but it’s very strict on its own immigration laws and punish very severely those who violates those laws. Mexico accepts only about 3,000 immigrants per year, and makes the screening process very difficult.
Central America illegal aliens are hunted down in bus and railroad stations and flea bag hotels. Their money is taken and sometimes they are deported. Mexico condemns the United State’s proposal to make illegal entry into the our country a felony, even though it is a felony to do so in their own country.
I hope our government does not submit to Mexico’s demands.
