The Carbon High School volleyball team was well represented at the CEU girls volleyball camp held at the BDAC. Teams from 10 schools came from all over the state to participate in the four day event. There were over 220 girls attending the camp trying to improve their skills for the up coming volleyball season.
The camp finished off on Saturday with a double elimination tournament that featured games that matched the teams against the clock as well as each other. Each game lasted only three minutes from the time the opposing team touched the serve.
Carbon had both varsity and JV girls attending the camp. Coach Bruce Bean is very exited about the up coming season. He knows that he has a young team this year, but feels like the team has enough talent to be one of the top contenders once again in the 3A ranks.
