On July 6 local area Little League All-star teams began a round robin tournament to qualify for the region M playoffs.
Teams included the All-stars from Green River, Wellington, Helper, Sunnyside and Price. Price fielded two teams in the tournament.
The Minor league players are the 9 and 10 year olds.
The Majors are the 11-12 year olds.
The Minor league season will end at the conclusion of the double elimination tournament of July 19.
The Major league All-star team that takes the crown on that same day will move on to the WBBA Worlds Series game in Logan.
Last year that tournament was played in Price.
The round robin play will wrap up on July 13 and the top four teams will move on to the double elimination play.
That competition will start on July 15 at the Toy Atwood baseball complex in North Price.
Both Minor and Major league games will begin at 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
