Lucille Hanson


Price – Lucille Marie (Christensen) Hanson, 94, passed away on June 28, 2006 in Price She was born on Jan. 14, 1912 in Elsinore the daughter of Peter E. and Elenora Christensen. She married Aaron J. Hanson on June 22, 1941 in Elsinore, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Lucille’s garden was her pride and joy and was enjoyed by family, friends and passers-by.
An accomplished pianist, singer and dancer, she delighted in all musical experiences.
She was a member of the Price LDS 5th Ward, during which time she served in many callings, her favorite being the young women’s president for many years. She loved to spruce up the piano on Sundays with the beautiful flowers cut from her own garden.
Most of all, she loved her family and the time she spent with them.
She is survived by children, Kaaren H. (Larry) Rose of Walnut Creek, Calif.; Richard A. Hanson of Salt Lake City; and Mary Suzanne Jensen of Price. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by devoted husband; parents; and siblings, Gordon, Rae and Faye.
Services will be Saturday, July l at 11 a.m. at the Price LDS 5th Ward chapel. Friends are invited to call on Friday evening at the chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery.


Sarah Rich


Rich, Sarah Eliza (Allred), 88, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2006. She was born Dec. 8, 1917 in Basin, Idaho, to Edsil Byrun and Sarah Annett Dye Allred. She was the ninth of 10 children. She met her sweetheart, Jay Warren Rich, and they were married on June 9, 1934. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family and take care of them. She loved to go fishing, camping, deer hunting, as well as make quilts. She was an excellent seamstress. She loved house plants and doing yard work. She was a beautician for 26 years with a shop in the back of her home.
She is survived by children, Pauline (Verdis) Barker, Price; Ronald (Dorothy) Rich, South Jordan; Lorane (Steve) Seeley, Sandy; Susan Rich, Magna; and a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Rich, West Jordan. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband; two sons, Jerald and Dorrell; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 5 sisters; and 4 brothers.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 1 at 11 a.m. at the Price LDS Stake Center, 150 South 500 East, in Price. Viewing will be at Fausett Mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 30, and an hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Price City Cemetery.

PRICE – A celebration of Jack M. Vignetto’s life will be Saturday, July 1, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home.
Friends are invited to join the family at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Shriner’s Hospital, Fairfax Road at Virginia Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84103.
Interment, Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.
