An article published in the June 15 issue of the Sun Advocate incorrectly stated facts regarding the agencies that responded to a fire in the Kenilworth area. Responding agencies included the Bureau of Land Management, United States Forest Service and volunteer fire departments.
Both the BLM and the Forest Service worked directly under the supervision of the state fire warden, who determined when crews could halt firefighting operations. In addition, the fire which reignited on June 6 was contained within the affected area and did not extend beyond the burn site.
