Esther Justice


PRICE – Esther J. Justice, 89, passed away at the Parkdale nursing facility in Price on March 21, 2006.
She was born April 11, 1916 in Huntington to Paul and Esther Majors. She married George J. Justice on Jan. 15, 1931 in Uintah County.
Esther had a love of gardening. She raised beautiful flowers of many varieties and had a lovely yard.
Esther loved reading, country music and watching her favorite soap opera.
Throughout the years, she made many beautiful afghans.
As a member of the LDS Church, she served in many callings, her two favorite being librarian and Primary teacher.
Above all, she loved her many grandchildren. Her family was her life.
Esther is survived by her children, Marie (Victor) Bromley of Fort Duchesne; Esther Gertsen of Beaty, Nev.; Orson (Karen) Justice of Huntington; Darlene Fields of Florence, S.C.; John (Sandra) Justice of Clawson; Mark (Kathy) Justice of Huntington; 38 grandchildren, 114 great-great-grandchildren and 54 great-great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters, Bertha Wayman of Salt Lake City, and Lurrine Lopez of Huntington. Preceded in death by husband; parents; brothers, Bud, Bill and Charley; and sisters, Eva and Annie.
Services will be Saturday, March 25, at 11 a.m. at the Huntington 1st/5th LDS Ward Chapel, 400 East 155 South. Friends are invited to call Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Castle Dale and one hour prior to services at the chapel. Interment, Huntington City Cemetery.
