Each week during the basketball season the Sun Advocate highlights two players from the Carbon High girls and boys basketball teams.
Erik Buchmiller is a sophomore on the Carbon Basketball squad. He plays guard as well as forward for the team. He looks forward to playing his X-box when not participating in sports. Erik is the youngest out of three boys in his family. He admires Vince Carter. Erik’s favorite class is Language Arts. He hasn’t narrowed down a school yet, but knows he will move on to college after high school.
Britni Greenwood is a freshman guard for the Carbon Lady Dinos. She also plays the port position. She is active in several other sports, including playing outside hitter on the volleyball squad. She is both a pitcher and a center fielder on the softball team. She is the youngest in a family of five children. She has one older sister and three brothers. Britni wants to play sports at the U of U someday. She loves math and geometry. She looks up to Brett Farve as one of her heroes.
