In as much as Highway 6 is a part of the main trucking route between Salt Lake and Denver, why hasn’t this highway been designated as an I-70 alternate and given the highest priority by the state of Utah?
There is an ever increasing overload of heavy truck traffic and we have had several accidents involving semis and several have occurred on the two lane sections of the road.
Last year a rollover occurred by the Red Narrows involving a semi laden with 17.5 tons of explosives which burst into flames and exploded. By the grace of God dozens of people weren’t killed or maimed.
Meanwhile, the Legacy Highway was signed into law. What about our Legacy Highway South.
And the beat goes on.
