Young wrestlers do well at tournaments

Kaiden Lewis wins with a pin in a recent tournament he participated in.

Each week a number of young wrestlers travel to tournaments within the state and outside as well. Some of those out of state tournaments are national competitions.
The latest results show that many of the Carbon kids are doing well in the meets they go to.
In a meet held in Orem recently Caleb Williams took a first place, Nico Valasquez and Kaiden Lewis took second, Tony Valasquez took third, and Collin Lewis and Johnny O’Hearon took fourth. In a Tooele tournament Kaiden Lewis took first and Collin Lewis took fourth.
In out of state competition winners included Caleb Williams with a fifth at the Kick Off Nationals in Tulsa, Okla. and he also took a second at the Reno, Nev, Nationals.
At the Denver, Colo. Who’s Bad Nationals both Caleb Williams and Johnny O’Hearon took first in their weight classes.
