Dwight was born Dec. 7, 1930 to Llewellyn (LW) and Eva Irene Williams Killpack. He married Maude Marie Snow May 8, 1950. They were later sealed in the Manti LDS Temple on July 27, 1963.
He was the youngest of eight brothers. Dwight loved the mountains and being with his kids, his brothers, his nephews, nieces and grandchildren. His ability to teach without saying a word was incredible and his example spoke volumes. He was a loving husband and a caring father. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions, including bishopric member.
He is survived by wife; children, Parke Lee (Toni) Killpack of Ferron; Bevan Dwight (Becky) Killpack of St. George; Kollynne Behling of Louisville, Ky.; Kollette (Mike) Cologie of Castle Dale; Kyle Ladd (Jean) Killpack of Parker, Colo.; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dwight was known for his ability to fix or make anything with his hands. His patience was his greatest gift. He taught his children to be responsible and dependable; he adored his wife and daughters and was very proud of his sons. He gave community and church service selflessly. His sense of humor never faded even in his final days. His pain is gone and his progress is eternal. We will be with him again.
