Freshman Jennica Mecham drives right looking to set up a play.

The CEU women’s basketball team found the touch against Snow College on Thursday night with a decisive 75-47 victory over the Badgers.
The Golden Eagles had more depth off the bench and it showed. It was a fast paced game throughout the first half and Snow did not have the players to rotate in to keep their legs fresh. The game stayed close for the first two quarters of play. By the end of the half, though, CEU was able to start pulling away.
CEU’s Elisha Harris, freshman guard from West Jordan, led the team with 13 points. Krislyn Wallace, freshman forward from Hopper, out rebounded everyone, pulling in 14 off the boards.
After the win, the women were 1-1 in SWAC conference play.
