Meagan Webb (6) goes up for a big spike as Heather McFarland sets the ball up during a game this season.

The College of Eastern Utah Lady Eagles volleyball team concluded their regular season this past Thursday night as they hosted the Snow College Badgers. Despite losing to the Badgers, 3-0, CEU looks forward to this week’s post season tournament.
Snow College entered the BDAC with a 3-6 Scenic West Athletic Conference record, but the team managed to upset the Eagles and thus advancing their win record to four games. CEU lost to Snow 30-18, 30-19 and 30-12. The loss drops the Eagles conference record to 0-10 and their overall record to 8-15.
Despite finising the season without a single win in the scenic west conference, the Eagles are still included in the post season conference tourney this weekend. CEU enters the Region 18 tourney in fourth place and will face number one seed, North Idaho College on Friday afternoon.
The Idaho team enters the tourney with a 9-1 confrence record and an overall record of 29-4.
Being the underdog of the tournament is not a position the Eagles wanted to be in, but the team feels that an upset could boost their status in the SWAC.
If the Lady Eagles pull off an upset against NIC, the team will then move on to compete in the final round for the region title.
The post season tourney will take place Nov. 11 and 12 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
