BYU to Present New Program

By Sun Advocate

Representatives from BYU will be visiting the CEU campus at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center on Wednesday, November 9th from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. The purpose of the visit is to recruit qualified students to participate in the federally funded Culturally Responsive Special Education and ESL program Dual Licensure Program that offers full tuition scholarships to individuals who are either ethnically diverse, bilingual, or have a disability.
There is both an undergraduate and a post baccalaureate program for those who already have a bachelor’s degree.
Graduates of the program will be able to teach both Special Education and ESL at all grade levels (K-12). The program was initiated in response to the growing cultural diversity in the schools and the need for bilingual and diverse educators. Please call (801) 422-2658 with any questions about the program.
