The Emery Heat baseball team sponsored by the Rocky Mountain School of Baseball came back champions after a tournament in Alpine.
The team played a total of six games at the tournament and went undefeated in play against all teams.
Nine teams competed at the tournament and against the Heat for first place in their first tournament.
The Emery Heat is an eight-year-old and younger team and is comprised of players from both Emery and Carbon county. The kids are coached by Carbon County resident, Dave Hreinson.
Hreinson has high hopes in the team’s next tournament in St. George in October.
