Ann Lambertson
WELLINGTON – Ann Lambertson, age 60, passed away Sept. 2, 2005.
Born July 15, 1945 in Salt Lake City to E. Ray and Marie Lane Staley. Married Keith Lambertson, later divorced.
Ann was a longtime resident of Carbon County, where she was a dedicated employee of the Price BLM office for 22 years prior to her retirement.
She will be dearly missed by her family and a community of friends.
Survived by three daughters, Christine Zerkle, Cedar City; Linda Timmons, St. George; Monica Bradsley, Wasilla, Alaska; seven grandchildren; five brothers and one sister.
Graveside service Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 1 p.m. at Cliffview Cemetery in Price. Family will be at Mitchell Funeral Home, 233 East Main in Price, one hour prior to service.
Orvil George Williams
WELLINGTON – Orvil George Williams passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 29, 2005.
He was born Feb. 10, 1941 in Spring Canyon (Rains) to Inas Cave Williams, currently residing in West Virginia, and George Williams, deceased.
He was the second of four children, Irvin (JoAnn) Williams, deceased; John Williams, Emery; and Darlene (Paul) Williams Norris, Beckley, W.Va.
He attended Carbon High School and played football until enlisting in the Army and serving his country until his military retirement in 1980. He received numerous awards and declarations, including the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart with oak leaf cluster for service in Vietnam. After his military retirement, he became a lay minister in the Baptist faith, working in the Lord’s service in various communities.
He loved fishing, camping, hunting, boating and playing with his grandchildren.
Please remember him in kindness for the joys he brought to others.
Orvil is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sue LeMaster Williams, Wellington; his mother-in-law, Sylvia (LeMaster) Clerico, Price/Salt Lake City; his daughters, Malinda Williams (Clarke) Dunnam, Taos, N.M.; Ariadne “Jeane” Williams Alfaro, Helper; his sons, Patrick Williams, Bellingham, Wash., currently serving in Iraq; and Ralph (Bonnie) Williams, Cleveland. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His eldest son, Orvil “Le” Williams, preceded him in death in 1996.
A memorial service was conducted Saturday, Sept. 3, at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price, with a fellowship and celebration of his life following at the First Baptist Church of Wellington.
The family wishes to thank the many kind neighbors, relatives and friends for their prayers, visits, calls, cards, love and support.
