As part of the facility’s focus on placing all non-aggressive animals, McCourt plans to transport approximately 25 dogs to a statewide pet adoption event Sept. 16 in Salt Lake. The shelter accepts animals from local residents at no cost, but charges nominal cat and dog adoption fees.
