Letter to the Editor: Medical oasis

By Sun Advocate

Editor:
On May 26 I found myself in the emergency room of Castleview Hospital. I was admitted by one doctor, and then transferred to the care of other caring physicians, along with a cadre of nurses who took care of me the entire weekend.
My purpose in writing this letter is to advise the community of the fine, professional care I received while at your hospital. While I came to Helper/Price to enjoy family and a high school graduation, I must say that I truly had the good fortune to find myself in the trust of some very fine professionals.
I understand that this hospital is the main medical facility for about a 70 mile radius around Price. I would offer that your community should be very proud of the professional staff that mans the hospital and that they should also find considerable comfort in the security of the tremendous care that they are ready and able to provide the community.
I just think the people of Carbon County should know that you had a visitor that found this medical oasis to be just that in a time of need.
