I am pleased we have an official investigation into the White House leak in the Valerie Plame affair.
Robert Novak, the columnist who outed Valerie Plame as a covert CIA agent has cited two sources in the White House for his information. We know Karl Rove is one source. Who is the other? Not only did Novak out Valerie Plame, but he outed the CIA front-company she was working for, thus risking the lives of thousands of covert operatives around the world.
I encourage our independent prosecutor appointed to investigate this serious breach of national security. Bush and his cronies act as though they are above the law. We must hold their feet to the fire. Insist Bush keep his word.
