A ribbon cutting and celebratory laps around the walking path at a new park marked the opening of the Cove Basin Park in north Price on Monday. Built around a floodwater holding basin, planners made what often becomes an eyesore into a facility which will beautify and add value to the area. Since many know the area as “The Coves,” Tamara Gray suggested in February that the park be named Cove Basin Park.
