Helen Nelson


PRICE – Helen Virginia Lee Nelson, age 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 1, 2005.
She was born Jan. 29, 1922 in Price to J. Bracken Lee and Nellie Pace. Married Harold Andrew Nelson on Aug. 1, 1943 in Bend, Ore. He died Sept. 4, 2003.
Lifelong resident of Carbon County. She graduated from Carbon High School and Carbon College. She was a dedicated employee of the College of Eastern Utah from 1959 to 1990 and she received the outstanding staff award in 1983 and the lifelong service award in 1990.
Helen was a staunch supporter of all activities at CEU and a member of the Beta Sorority. She loved attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and was an avid Jazz and Ute fan.
Helen’s greatest love was for her family and she enjoyed traveling.
Survived by two sons and two daughters, Gary (Gaylene) Nelson, Helper; Lee (Mary) Nelson, Salt Lake City; DeLynne Nelson, Price; Colleen (Stan) Pestotnik, Salt Lake City; two brothers and one sister, James (Evelyn) Lee, Joan (Lewis) Taylor, Richard (Marianne) Lee, all of Salt Lake City; and nine wonderful grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service Tuesday, May 10, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, where friends are welcome one hour prior to services. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.


Crystal Bradley


WELLINGTON – Crystal Marie Bradley, age 27, passed away April 30, 2005.
She was born Dec. 2, 1977 in Green Bay, Wis., to Daniel and Joyce Jefrey Carpenter. She married Dale Bradley Jr. on May 31, 1997 in Green River.
Crystal loved being around and caring for children and animals. She enjoyed life and brought joy to those around her.
Crystal is survived by her husband, Dale Jr; children, Kristofer, Kendralynn, Dalton and Meghan, all of Wellington; father and stepmother, Dan and Shari Carpenter of DePere, Wis.; mother, Joyce Wilson of Green River; brother, Justin Carpenter of Price; sisters, Ashley Katrina Gogos of Green River and Shana of DePere, Wis.; and other extended family members. She left behind grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Crystal has a very large and loving family and she is going to be really missed.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 7, at 11 a.m. at the Wellington LDS Stake Center, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Wellington Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.


Robert Wilcox


EAST CARBON – Robert C. Wilcox, age 59, passed away April 30, 2005.
Bob was born July 9, 1945 in Price.
He served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He worked as a painter and a coal miner.
Bob enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, custom cars and leather crafting.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Burt of Mantua; sons, Eric Wilcox of Millersburg, Robert and Scott Wilcox of Maryland; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Debbie Eaquinto of Salem, Ore.; Pat Walters of Elko, Nev.; and brother, Kenneth of National City, Calif.
At his request, services will be private.
