The driver of a Chevrolet Tracker and shoppers at Deseret Industries walked away unharmed from a collision yesterday around noon.
‘We were fortunate no one was hurt,’ said store manager Calvin Jensen. Other than the broken glass, skid marks starting about six feet into the store damaged carpet and some racks holding merchandise were damaged. The vehicle suffered a damaged windshield and dents and scratches.
Police on the scene said the driver claimed the vehicle accelerated when she hit the brake while pulling into a parking stall outside the store.
