Dennis Grange


MURRAY – Dennis William Grange, 34, passed away April 4, 2005, in Murray.
He was born July 17, 1970, in Price to Ferris and Mary Bea Jones Grange.
Dennis enjoyed watching NASCAR and riding and racing motorcycles. He loved his family and friends, taking delight in “giving them a hard time” and helping them out whenever he could.
He is survived by three daughters, Teaira, Ashtin and Keely, who are the loves of his life. Also survived by sisters, Pam and Jim Anderson of Huntington; Kimberly and Glenn Huff of Price; brothers, Gale and Claudia Grange of Highland, Richard and Elaine Grange of Sandy; Ralph and Karen Grange of Magna, Jeff and Teri Grange of Huntington; Gordon and Kay Grange of Sandy; and Darin and Deanna Grange of Sandy. Preceded in death by parents; and brother, Michael. We will miss you.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 9, noon, in the Huntington 1st/5th LDS Ward Chapel (115 S. 400 East), where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial, Huntington Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.


Robert Nelson


PRICE – Robert Lyle Nelson, age 57, passed away April 4, 2005, in Price after a long illness.
He was born July 19, 1947, in Price to Lyle and Gladys Stevenson Nelson. Robert married Beverly Jean Clark April 14, 1973, in Provo, where their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple.
Robert always loved computers, scrap-booking and doing genealogy. He passed many happy hours watching NASCAR. He loved spending time, reading to his grandchildren (Thomas The Train, his own version, being the favorite). He enjoyed swapping stories about the good old days with his two brothers, who were very dear to him. He was a wonderful example of how to deal with trials and tribulations with a positive attitude. Though burdened with Fabrys Disease, he proudly served four years in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by wife, Beverly of Price; children, Kimberly and Jared Patterson and Ryan Nelson, all of Price; and three grandchildren, Sierra, Katie and Tristan. Also survived by brother, Randy and wife, Tonya of Elmo. Preceded in death by parents; and two brothers, Steven and Roger.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 8, 11 a.m. in the Price 6th Ward LDS Chapel (300 W. 500 South). Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial, Cliff View Cemetery in Price.


Helen Robertson


PRICE – Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Beth Robertson, 81, passed peacefully away April 5, 2005, in Bountiful.
Born Helen Beth Waterman Feb. 17, 1924, in Price to Benjamin and Vera Waterman. Married Dean G. Robertson April 7, 1943, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served in the ward and stake Primary, Sunday school, young women’s and Relief Society organizations, Cub Scouting program, as a missionary in the Connecticut Hartford Mission 1985-1986 with her faithful companion and husband. Beth served in the church and her community but most lovingly and faithfully in her family.
Survived by children, Karen (Jeff) McKenzie, West Valley City; Nancy (Joe) Morgan, Dugway; Robby (Ginnie) Fresno, Calif.; Rita, Michele, Helen, all of Las Vegas, Nev.; Scott and Mark, both of Salt Lake City; 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert and Floyd Waterman; and sister, Shirley Tanner. Preceded in death by parents, two sisters, one brother, husband, granddaughter and great-granddaughter.
Viewing will be Sunday, April 10, 6 to 8 p.m., at Fausett Mortuary, 680 E. 100 South, Price. Funeral services will be Monday, April 11, 11 a.m., Price 11th LDS Ward, 303 W. 500 South, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery.


Reva Christensen


HUNTINGTON/LOGAN – Our loving mother, grandmother and sister, Reva Wakefield Christensen, age 89, passed away April 6, 2005, in Logan.
She was born Aug. 3, 1915, in Huntington, to Don and Irene Bradley Wakefield. Married W. Ray Christensen Nov. 2, 1932, in Price; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Ray passed away on Feb. 8, 2003.
Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held several musical callings including Primary and Relief Society chorister.
She had a special way with little children. Her family was her life and she a wonderful mother. She had many talents and she was a seamstress for JC Penney, Levan’s and Mr. Mac.
Reva’s is survived by two daughters and one son, Reva LaRae (Andrew)Douros, Price; Robert (Claudia) Christensen, Richmond; daughter, Patricia (Sam) Swasey, Millville; sister, Addie Richards, St. George; 16 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, and two sisters.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sunshine Terrace Staff, for their many acts of kindness to Reva and her family.
Funeral service Monday, April 11, 1 p.m., at the Huntington 3rd LDS Ward, located at 190 S. Main. Family will be at the church Monday one hour prior to service. Interment, Huntington City Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home, Price.


Raynel Cordova


PRICE – Raynel “Ned” Cordova, age 44, passed away April 3, 2005.
Born July 22, 1960, in Dragerton, to Richard E. and Clorinda Garcia Cordova. Married Carolyn Ide, later divorced. Married Rochelle Sabadan, later divorced.
Member of the Catholic Church. Graduate of East Carbon High. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being a free spirit.
Survived by five children, Tiffany Cordova, Orem; Richard Cordova, Vernal; Raynel Cordova, Spring Glen; Debra Cordova, Spring Glen; Joseph Cordova, Juneau, Alaska; father and stepmother, Richard (Connie) Cordova; mother, Clorinda Cordova, both of Price; four grandchildren; four brothers; one sister, Richard (Jamie) Cordova, Evanston, Wyo.; Phillip (Valerie) Cordova, Grace, Idaho; David (Becky) Cordova, Rock Springs, Wyo.; James (Anna) Cordova, Price; Debra (Larry) Madrigal, Price; and grandfather, Ezequiel Cordova, East Carbon. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by sister, Deborah.
Funeral Mass Saturday, April 9, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service Friday evening, 7 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Friday and Saturday one hour prior to service. Committal service, Cliff View Cemetery.


Inez Stock


PRICE/GREEN RIVER – Inez Stock, 90, of Green River, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2005, in Provo.
She operated 56 Club, Central Hotel, and Sportsman’s Club in Price and Helper. She was a resident of Green River from 1996 to 2003.
She is survived by son and daughter, Lenard and Irene Johnson; brother; four sisters; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be in Spanish Fork with burial in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery under the direction of Walker Family Mortuary.
