Carbon Places Four Lady Dinos on 3A All-state Team

Jamie King
King averaged 8.3 points, four rebounds, one assist and two steals per game. She was the rock in the middle who anchored the Lady Dinos defense. King, a junior who will prove valuable in the middle next year for Carbon, was chosen second team 3A
Maquette Potts
Tough as nails on rebounding and defense, Potts averaged six points, seven rebounds, one assist and three steals per game. A senior, she went out with a flourish putting in free throws near the end of the championship game with Morgan, where the Lady Dinos finally triumphed over the Lady Trojans.
Halee Rasmussen
A point guard that grew immensely in skill and confidence throughout the season Rasmussen averaged 10.6 points, two rebounds and 4.3 steals per game. She led the team in heart and mind, and took over the team when leadership was needed.
Morgan Warburton
Named the most valuable girls player in 3A Warburton averaged 18.7 points, nine rebounds, eight assists 5.4 rebounds per game. The last of a long line of Warburton sisters to play at Carbon, she made her older siblings proud by helping to bring home the first state basketball title since 1997.
