While no giant sink holes have shown up in the county, the very wet weather this winter has created a lot of places along roads, particularly those that have had work done on them the last year, that have settled. This hole that showed up in the road near 750 North and Gardner Avenue could have been bad news for some motorist before it was marked. Such holes in both dirt and paved roads are common right now in many places in the county.
