Paul and Lydia Peterson of Spring Glen and Earl and Cindy Lund of Sandy announce the marriage of their daughter, Heidi Lund Barker, to Stephen John Solokis, the son of Stan and Gladys Solokis of Gaylord, Mich.
The couple will exchange vows March 5 at the Ascension St. Mathews Church.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor at the Carbon Country Club that evening.
Heidi is employed with Eastern Utah Broadcasting at KOAL Radio in Price. Steve is self-employed in the oil and gas exploration industry out of Littleton, Colo.
Shalise Weaver

Doug and Laurel Weaver of Castle Dale announce the marriage of their daughter, Shalise Weaver, to Daniel Lee Cook, the son of Chall and Annette Cook of Huntington. They will be married March 4 in the Manti LDS Temple.
A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor March 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Castle Dale senior center, 85 North 200 East.
Shalise and Dane are 2001 graduates of Emery High. Shalise earned an associate degree from College of Eastern Utah in 2003. She spent one year working as a nanny in New York and is enrolled in the physical therapy program at Salt Lake Community College. Dan served in the Ecuador-Quito mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He completed an associate degree at CEU and is employed at the Gateway Center in Salt Lake City.
The couple will reside in Salt Lake City, where they plan to continue their educations.
