I think I understand Governor Huntsman’s plan to cut corporate taxes and slash another $200 million (give or take) from the already worst in the nation (in per capita student spending) public school system. This is really a plan to eliminate illegal immigration in Utah.
Here’s how it will work. He cuts corporate taxes; the schools cannot afford to educate a whole generation of children, the sweat shop companies around the world see that we are putting a whole bunch of idiots in the work force, those companies come to Utah and recruit all the home grown uneducated people to work for or below minimum wage, the immigrants stop coming because there are no more jobs for them, and Utah becomes a third world country full of box stores, sweat shops making products for box stores, fast food joints, and happy idiots working for five bucks an hour.
