Halee Rasmussen was the leading scorer for the Lady Dinos in their victory over Delta last Thursday night.

The Lady Dinos took one more step toward undefeated Region 8 play on Thursday as they took apart Delta in the west desert town 51-30.
Carbon used their signature pressure defense and balanced scoring to do in the Lady Rabbits, who struggled from the beginning of the game.
The Lady Dinos (6-0, 16-1 overall) burst out of the starting gates and buried the Rabbits in their own burrow with a 17-11 first period.
It didn’t get any better for the Delta kids, although the Dinos did let up a little in the second only putting them away 10-7 in the period.
In the second half Carbon scored a total of 24 points to only 12 for Delta as the Carbonites finished off their oppostion.
Balance was the name of the game for Carbon. Halee Rasmussen had a game high of 11, Morgan Warburton finished with 10, Jamie King put in 9, and Meesha Rasmussen scored 8.
Others in the scoring column included Maquette Potts with 4 and Danielle Martino and Kim Capalbo with one each.
Carbon hosts North Sanpete tonight (Tuesday) at 7 p.m. at the Dinogym in their next to last game of the regular Region 8 season.
