Halee Rasmussen scored 10 points in the game with North Sanpete on Thursday.

The Mustangs of Dugway took advantage of a hot shooting night to destroy the East Carbon boys basketball team on Friday night in a game in Sunnyside.
Dugway came away from the contest with a 87-41 victory, the worst defeat the winless East Carbon boys have absorbed this year.
The Mustangs (5-0 in Region 18) used a combination of high percentage shooting and pressure defense to beat the East Carbon team, which fell to 0-3, and 0-6 overall.
In the first quarter the Mustangs jumped out to a 19-11 lead, but it was the second period which did the Vikings in as they were outscored 33-6.
Dugway began to substitute in the third quarter, but still won the scoring contest for the period 12-7.
In the final period, East Carbon was finally able to put up some normal numbers with 17 points, but it was too little too late.
The Vikings were led in scoring by Kyle Leonard with 18 points. The only other player on the team in double figures was Larry Leyba with 10 points.
Others who scored included J.D. Leonard with 7, with Stephen Brown, David Stewart and Chris Candelaria all scoring 2 points.
The East Carbon boys now play on Wednesday night against Meridian (1-4, 2-11) in Provo.
