Char Kelly owns and operates Plum Country, at 119 S. Main, Helper.
She designs and builds unique handmade wood furniture, country-style cabinets, toy boxes, beds and dressers. She offers restoration of any furniture, especially antiques and her specialty is in hand painted items. As a special feature, she will paint any type of art work for any order.
The work that Char does comes naturally. She sat and watched her grandfather as a child. She has never had formal instruction and everything that she builds is from scratch with no patterns.
Char has been featured in several magazines including the Conference Design and Country America.
