Amie Stewart goes for the ball during the Lady Dinos volleyball game with Emery last Tuesday. The Dinos beat Emery handily in three games 25-11, 25-23 and 25-11. On Thursday they also manhandled North Sanpete 25-16, 25-20 and 25-20. Carbon is presently undefeated for the entire season with an 8-0 mark in Region 8 and 14-0 throughout the entire season. The only team in the 3A classification with a similar record is Morgan with a 9-0 record in Region 11 and a 16-0 overall record. Currently Carbon is ranked second in the state behind Morgan, with North Sanpete, the defending champions from last year, ranked third.
