Cross country runner Joe Hurley and Kathy Hanna-Smith, county tourism director, head toward Helper and Price Canyon. Hurley was in Price Wednesday on his 3,600 mile trek across America to bring awareness to Route 6 and preserve the unique heritage along the longest coast-to-coast highway in the United States. Hurley has approximately 900 miles remaining and walks an average of 20 miles a day. He is a former reporter with a Connecticut newspaper and is writing and submitting photos as he journeys across the country.
