In his daily update Joe Hurley reported Sunday, “We’ve reached Utah and the three-quarter mark of our journey across the nation. We’ve survived mountains, blistering heat, aching bones, a few lightning bolts and one nasty little dog.”
Hurley is walking State Route 6 across the United States and will be in Price Tuesday, (today) at about 2:30 p.m. A celebration is schedule at the Peace Gardens.
In his message located on the web Hurley writes, “Many have already contributed to Route 6 Walk – offering lodging, food, encouragement, and� the welcome and kindness of their families and homes along the way. To you we are forever grateful and that gratitude goes beyond words.”
