Carbon High golf will advance to the state tournament at East Bay golf course on Oct. 6 and 7. The top eight Carbon results for the Region 8 tournament are as follows:
Shayne Burke, 80; Bart Hansen, 92; Kent Hartley, 84; Chase Julian, 81; Hunter King, 83; Cameron Oliver, 90; Mark Rasmussen, 79; and Mike Zaccaria, 85.
Six players will represent the team at the state tournament. Those players are: seniors, Rasmussen, Zaccaria, Oliver and Hartley; junior, King; and freshman, Burke.
Julian, a junior, will be the teams alternative.
The top four scores of the players will be factored for the team score.
