Price City worker Jeremiah Johnson runs a paint stripping machine early in the morning to renew the old stripes on Main Street and to avoid traffic while doing so. City, county and state workers often place themselves in danger by working on the streets, even though they have barricades, cones and often flaggers out. Residents should remember that fines for speeding through work zones doubles when they are cited, but more importantly than that, they could cause injury or death to people who are just doing their job.
